The U14 Fooball team had a resounding win last night when they defeated Bantry in the final of the West section and now advance to the county semi-final stage of the competition. The U-21 Fooball side will play St Finbarrs in the final on Saturday evening after the Togher based side made light work of Coucey Rovers last night (Wednesday - 9th July) in the replay of their semi-final. It will take a big performance to bring the first county football title at adult level to the village but all supporters are asked to turn out and rally behind the team on Saturday evening in Pairc Ui Rinn - 6.15pm.

This weekend will see the U14 side in action in the National Feile competition. The event takes place in Mayo (Ballyhaunis) and a presentation of Jerseys and other gear will have taken place by the time these notes are printed but further details will be carried next week.
