final. The ground work for victory was laid in a tight first half, played

Camogie Win -Sarah Buckley Memorial
Balllinascarthy camogie girls won the Sarah Buckley Memorial
plaque in Blarney last Saturday. In terribly wet conditions, they beat
the home team in a very competitive game. Other teams in the blitz were
Glen Rovers and St. Finbarrs. Well done to the girls on a great day out
and a special word of thanks to the Buckley family and Blarney camogie club for

Ballinascarthy 0-11 Carbery Rangers 0-07Bal advanced to the quarter final stage of the championship last Saturday defeating a Ross side who were strangely subdued in a second period in which Bal should have been out of sight long before the final whistle. In the final minutes points from Eoin O'Brien, Cillian Cullinane and a Ricky O'Flynn sealed a merited victory for the reds.
