Camogie Win -Sarah Buckley Memorial
Balllinascarthy camogie girls won the Sarah Buckley Memorial plaque in Blarney last Saturday. In terribly wet conditions, they beat the home team in a very competitive game. Other teams in the blitz were Glen Rovers and St. Finbarrs. Well done to the girls on a great day out and a special word of thanks to the Buckley family and Blarney camogie club for hosting this excellent blitz. Bal's captain, Lydia Lehane accepted the plaque on behalf of the team and presented each girl with her medal. Thanks also to the trainers Tom Crowley and Eileen Lehane and to all the parents who travelled on the day.
