Upcoming Ballinascarthy GAA and Camogie Dinner Dance celebrating the achievements of 2019 will take place in Dunmore House Hotel on Saturday the 11th of January from 19.30. Tickets are 35 euro and available from Village Store and club officers.

The rearranged Puc Fada saw 11 teams compete for both GAA and Camogie prizes. Winners of GAA section were Ben Murray, Sean Ryan and Daniel O'Brien. Winners of Camogie section were Michelle Dullea and Lisa Hegarty. 140 euro raised for Clogagh National School.

A huge thanks to all those from the club who helped in the running of both events yesterday. It was a great success and thanks to all who gave so generously for the school fundraiser. It was very appropriate that both events ran together as the Puc Fada trophy is dedicated to the memory of Con (Corney) Daly of Carrig Ballinascarthy who went to school in Clogagh and wasa member of the Clogagh company in the War of Independence.
