Hugh was a member of a family with a long standing association with the village and the Bal GAA club. The Junior A hurlers are up next in championship against Dunmanway this Sunday at 4 pm in Balineen. The Ballinascarthy GAA Club wish to extend our sincere sympathies to Julie, Stephen, Hugh, Alan and the extended Holland family. Hugh was always part of our village community growing up and conducting his business from there. We will miss our friendly chats with him as he regularly maintained his trucks across the road from his home.
