Ballinascarthy GAA is delighted to announce that we have been awarded €128,746 in Sports Capital Grant funding by the Department of Tourism, Culture, Arts, Gaeltacht, Sport and Media.This funding was received following an application by the club last year with support and guidance from Christopher O Sullivan TD, Michael Collins TD and Sen. Ballinascarthy GAA would like to thank each and every person who has contributed to our Sunflower fundraiser both this year and again for last year. It has been a resounding success once again. We have now raised €64,297 over both years with just under €33,000 of that going to Marymount University Hospice!! We are beyond proud of our small community and what it has achieved. We can't keep up with the Underage club at the moment! The good news just keeps rolling in. This time it's the U13 Owen Gaels team who have struck gold and defeated the Western Gaels in the huling league final on Saturday in Enniskeane. Final Score 1-06 to 1-0. Another mighty win.

A big congratulations to the Ballinascarthy Hall Committee who got some great news today. Ballinascarthy Community Hall has won the Social Inclusion Award at the Pride of Place Competition! Ballinascarthy GAA would like to thanks all involved, especially those on the committee, for the tireless work that often goes unseen.
