Congrats to the U14 team after they qualified today for the final of the competition after defeating Glenville 3-06 to 2-03 in the semi final this evening.

Ballinascarthy           3-6

Glenville                     2-3

Ballinascarthy under 14’s have progressed to the county final of the Féile football competition.  Having accounted for Coursey Rovers and Ibane Gaels in the earlier rounds, they met Glenville in the semi final of this county-wide competition.  Highlights of this win included goals from Matthew Hurley, Ger Cummins and Padraic Cullinane.  Two years ago, this team had great success, winning both their under 12 hurling and football competitions in west Cork.  This Féile tournament gives the players their first exposure of playing in the county.  So far so good, but the bar keeps rising and we wish them all the best in their first ever county final.
