Minor Hurlers win County League

Congrats to the Pedlars Minor Hurling team who defeated Kilarra Og (Kilworth and Araglin) in the county league final on Saturday at Passage West. The final score - 1-17 to 0-13.


The U-16 hurling team captured the divisional title last night with a super win over hot favrouites Bandon at Newcestown. Pedlars opened up a six point lead early on before the Lily whites narrowed the margin to one point after fifteen minutes. U-16 B Hurling Championship Final - Bal v Bandon will take place this coming Thursday in Newcestown at 7.30pm - All support would be greatly appreciated. The Junior hurling team play Kilbree on Saturday next August 1st at 7.00pm in Enniskeane.

Juniors suffer defeat to St Colums

Bal were defeated by St Colums on Sunday June 21st after putting it up to the favourites for three quarters of the game and were unlucky to concede a fortuitous goal which was the turning point in the game. Feile Title retained by U14 side

U-14 Team made it two in a row on Saturday last at Ballinlough when they defeated a gallant Passage side in the final. The losers were unlucky not to have notched at least one goal before the break but it was Bal who consolidated their half time lead to run out winners at the end of a sporting game - 1-10 to 0-02...

The U21 team advanced to the final of the championship last Sunday following a hard earned victory over Ibane Gaels at Rosscarbery. They play Mathunas in the semi-final next weekend - Saturday at 5pm in Ahiohill.

Well done to the Bal U12 Football team and mentors who took part in the half time game at Pairc Ui Rinn yesterday during the Cork and Kerry national football match. The opposition were Clyda Rovers from the parish of Mourneabbey outside Mallow.
